Blogger Happy Hour

Next Friday I’m teaming up to throw a happy hour at Bourbon with Arjewtino, a hardcore player posing as a huggable beta for his predominantly female readership, and the lovely Lemmonex, an American woman who actually knows how to cook.

Bourbon is one of the only bars I know that has Stone Pale Ale, a beer that I highly recommend for its woodsy undertones.

This is an ale for those who have learned to appreciate distinctive flavor.

That would be me.

I should come to this. I’ve never been to a blogger happy hour. Do I need a blog?

What would be really hardcore is Stone’s Double Bastard Ale, which is like Arrogant Bastard ale, but stronger. Even the bottle is intense, as it spends it’s time insulting you and your inability to consume a beer of its power.

I will be there, and am curious to see how the Bourbon in Adams Morgan compares to the one I’ve been to in Glover Park. Also, I say we all head a few doors down to Dan’s afterwords and really get the party started. That place is insane.

I don’t know Arjewtino…is there anything sharper than wearing a beige suit to a bar? I think not.

“is there anything sharper than wearing a beige suit to a bar?”

A white suit. But you have to have a lot of swagger to pull it off.

It works better in Miami Beach on Model Girls too.

Be careful with the red wine.

this happy hour will probably consist of three groups. 1) Roosh and his blogger buddies. 2) A number of beta’s who read the blog and will attend thinking it will be a good opportunity to get laid. 3) A bunch of beta’s who will attend to just to slob roosh’s nob and hound him with game questions.
