I don’t care for doing these distracting launches. While I like money in my pocket, the business side of selling books doesn’t interest me. I much prefer creating the content, but I need reserves to allow me to comfortably do so (i.e., to sit for hours a day working on a project that may have no financial reward). I don’t need much because of my minimalist lifestyle, so I’m glad I don’t have to ask you often to give me money for my work.
I meet a lot of internet marketers and the common thing I noticed is that they hate creating content, but love marketing their products. In fact, they spend more time on marketing than content creation. That does bring up some ethical questions, but as long as there are people gullible enough to buy the magic pill solution, the marketers will continue to be successful. Maybe you should be such a marketer, because I can tell you that being honest and saying “hard work is required” is not the fast path to riches for any niche. Fortunately, I have a following of like-minded men who trust me and would help me if I asked, a measure of wealth that cannot be measured in a dollar amount.
