Just a question, after you open the girl and she is positive to you, do you keep talking to her there or try to isolate her?

And once the drinks are finished which step do you suggest, I move toward isolation in a quiet spot at the club but sometime they are resistant especially if the cockblocker is supervising.

If I happen to be standing next to a woman while she is ordering at the bar. If she gets a cocktail, I try to guess what she is drinking. After a while you get better it. Either way, you open her and it invites conversation.

“Alpha” body language is key. Upright and shoulders back, but relaxed and at ease. Don’t lean in or encroach on her space. Possibly angle yourself (feet and shoulders) slightly away from her but don’t get in your head micromanaging that. The tap itself is slow and gentle but firm.

The tap is there because in a loud, crowded environment, that’s the best way to indicate “give me your attention I’m about to say something to you.” Think of it as a calm, assertive move rather than a hurried, urgent one and that should help get the pacing and body language right.

To practice, you can try using the shoulder tap to move girls out of the way if they are crowding your path. Move slowly and deliberately and if you’re doing it right sometimes the girl will turn around eagerly and be clearly disappointed when you merely say “excuse me”. That’s the reaction you’re looking for with the shoulder-tap.

The standing behind her part also probably assumes some amount of crowdedness, where standing in one spot for a minute or so isn’t really that weird. I agree though that if it’s not crowded then standing behind staring at her neck the whole time is very creepy. If the crowd is very sparse you might be able to pull it off by hanging back and approaching from a distance when you see her pay the bill.

Standing behind or next to the girl is pretty much common sense. After the tap, if it is really hard to hear, a good move is to motion to your ear as in “hey, can’t hear you” while signaling to the girl to come closer. If you are standing like a champ, it forces her to lean in to you. My issue is killing the time winning the friends or pulling isolation – the approach is the easy part.

10 years ago here in Argentina if you had big muscles they would make fun of you (because muscle guys were made fun of by the media) Nowadays beefed guys are portayed like the alpha most desirable guys by the media and so woman actively chase big guys…

This also has to do a lot with the permeation of gay culture into mainstream. Going crazy for really big guys was always a gay culture trait. In terms of the men body women were always mostly interested in the notch. They didn´t care much about anything else (provided you were not disgusting)

Good last point. Having an outwardly more dominant body type (big muscles), would seem to be appealing, even at an unconscious level to women who are more dominant.

I find this point even more interesting. My sister is a more dominant, alpha type girl (aspects exacerbated by a leadership role in her job)…and the only guys she is ever interested in fall into the the more dominant, alpha type – cop, fireman, muscley investment dude – all of which were pretty big dudes.

Having muscles is always better than not having muscles, all other things being equal. If you are a white guy, what you lack in muscles you can make up in game and vice versa. But if you are an Indian or Asian guy, you absolutely need both muscles and game.
