It's not going to happen (every guy getting a cocky vibe in 10 years); Aside from the fact that the country is getting fatter: an inverse relationship between fatness and cockiness is an impossibility. All the aspiring PUAs should realize that most people are too lazy or cowardly to start turning themselves into PUAs.

[...] Many top PUAs hail from Toronto. A disproportionate number, really. I wondered why this was so. I now have a theory based on the people there. When girls give you NO approach invitations at all, you have to assume all of them love you, and go in strong. Waiting around forever for eye contact is a fruitless endeavor. Since these chicks are cosmopolitan and don’t get sloppy garbage-hour drunk like American chicks, your game has to be tight; any hint of cheesiness or awkwardness will send them running. Plus, when the local guys make no effort to game women, the rewards for the enterprising PUA are greater. You can stand out a lot more in Toronto as an assertive man than you could in DC, where every douche and his little douchey brother get some liquid courage and boost even the fat girls’ egos, and where the pickup scene is more widespread. [...]

Primers on gaming could be published on the front/home pages of every newspaper in the country every day for 10 years and "game" would never lose its effectiveness for 2 main reasons:

1) Game works because it taps into fundamental circuitry in a woman's brain, and

2) Most guys are too lazy to do what it takes to become good at game.

Reason #2 is most important. I mean, EVERYONE knows how to be trim and fit (eat less and exercise more). But few have the self-discipline to do it. The reality is, getting good at game requires discipline and commitment, which are in short supply with a large chunk of humanity.

Surprisingly, Swedish guys are not as feminized as you might expect. There are actually a surprising amount of Swedish alphas out there. Most of them were bouncers or security at places, but still.

<blockquote>"The only thing you can’t fake is supreme confidence..."</blockquote>

Sure you can fake it...you have to start somewhere. But eventually it'll become real. And I view it not so much as "confidence" as there's really nothing to be scared of anyway.

<i>A dozen different Swedish guys even asked me if I ever read The Game.</i>

in a superfeminized culture like sweden's it doesn't surprise me at all that the game would be a big deal. the connection between the neutering of a culture's males via feminist orthodoxy and their embrace of game should be obvious.

I just came from Stockholm. A girl there asked "What is it with guys asking us for our opinions about stuff all the time?" Apparently a ton of girls there know about Neil Strauss and the Game and it's become a laughinstock over there. A dozen different Swedish guys even asked me if I ever read The Game.

This is why I think CharismaArts is so much better than D'Angelo...it doesn't focus on cocky-funny nonsense that 'every' guy has in full force at any bar.

You must also consider that, every year, the population of new women to the bars refreshes itself with new fish, and the old ones leave the herd. The game ends when the PU-world focuses its attention on girls under 21 that, by the time they hit the bars, they are all desensitized.

I'm glad I'm not doing the seduction stuff anymore. Once you realize that when all of your efforts to game women is nothing more than a drawn-out form of supplication to women, that is to say, learning how to get them to like you in ways not natural to your person, you begin to look at other Pick-up artists differently. And then, you realize this holds true for yourself. I won't dis pickiing up chicks in this manner, but I do dislike the idea that beta-males who put on all of that cocky-funny armor can talk trash about other beta males who just haven't read a few mass e-mails from DeAngelo.

Oops, I mistakenly hit "send", so I'll just continue.............................

The "conversational threads" is my favorite part of your book because that is where things naturally stall. He establishes contact and conversation, they find each other physically mutually attractive and wham.................uncomfortable silence too early in early game because his mind's hazy and he temporarily runs out of good things to say. Having three or four personal stories that portray alphaness in the bank that one can always pull out, or four or five converstational starters that he can thread off of, can string together the converstation long enough for the player to keep building vibe without resorting to asking trite things that are so overused.

I openly wonder if Erik Von Markowick regrets having that show on television.

Women would have been clueless to game, but by going on television and talk shows he (and Strauss in his TV appearances) told the whole world that guys are using a sophisticated psychologically calibrated "sales pitch" delivered as a converstatino that has been tested over and over as an effective way to "mood scam" women into bed with men they wouldn't ordinarily sleep with, especially on the first date.

Now, so many women no doubt know "of" game, they probably are suspicious that every guy out there is running it on them. Some will no doubt be a little wary.

I think the "neg" and some of the psychological tests could be instruments in game where a guy might stand a chance of getting caught. The strawberry test (which sounded terrific in your book BTW), if its the second time she has heard it, is going to alert her that at the least that its (TST) is something that guys talk about in frats as a way to mindfuck a girl into her panties. The cube and the marryfuckkill might also become clichesque if even one major womens magazine that girls read at the hairdressers publishes a story and mentions it. Through the girlnetwork many of the women will find out about the psychological tests that guys can run in game and anything like that that you pull out and run might make her very suspicious that your entire enteraction could have been somewhat scripted.

I suppose it depends on the girl, and if she minds feeling that she has been mood scammed vs. how much she has enjoyed your company.

For ROOSH, THE BIGGEST AND BEST ATTRIBUTE OF YOUR BOOK IS THAT CONCEPT OF "CONVERSTATIONAL THREADS" AND HAVING STORIES AND MATERIAL BASED ON YOUR REAL EXPERIENCE,

Yea Reef does have a high player to girl ratio, but I still think the best game, is the abscense of game. While the end goal for a night out is to be balls deep, the 2 best assets are 1) Be attractive - yes i heard it on a mtn dew commerical but its totally true, and 2) have fun. What cripples a bar scene is a bunch of debbie downer guys -> I think you call them betas, blow money and get in the way. So basically, be comfortable, chatty, attractive adn the girls will be receptive, while there is the veneer of naivete, they have their own agenda and there is a reason why they are out.

I think canned routines are useless. Even Neil Strauss reported a few years ago that the word is pretty much out about "the game" and girls are calling dudes out on it as they approach. Some of them being like, "don't use that David DeAngelo crap on me". Plus it doesn't help that Mystery had a VH-1 reality show as well as appearances on late night talk shows. By that time the cat was out of the bag.

I've been seeing a chic for most the year so I'm not "out there" right now. But if I were, I think I'd use the angle of interesting+funny+confident+non-needy". In fact I think just fun + confident will do at core because "funny" when it comes down to it is just a quick way to indicate to a girl that you a fun and entertaining person to be around, that you would bring some value to her life.

There has to be better places to meet girls though than bars and clubs. Maybe it's time to focus on day game. Girls are probably way less defensive.

That's hilarious. DC Hero and I used to hit Reef all the time and then proceed to hit on every set in the place.

I guess the size, multiple floors and solid collection of 6's make it a great practice place.

Confidence goes far. Speaking only with words that express depth leads you to her place for a nightcap.
