I’ve found something similar between girls on the east and west coasts of the US. East coast girls = no eye contact or avoid it; West coast girls = lots of eye contact.

It`s sort of like the tendency of East coast US girls to wear black as a default color. All those asexual black pantsuits. Almost never seen in LA.
