Sorry, I don’t see it as being an immature trait. People do this stuff not to appear ‘too easy’ to one another. I do it myself all the time in all parts of the interactions. Plain and simple, I like to take my sweet ass time with stuff and I don’t like doing thigs that suddenly ‘pop up’. Even if it’s a girl, it’s annoying.

I love trying to break girls of this habit by following up right away, at first, most of the time. If they see that its ok to not be aloof, and they aren’t complete twats, then sometimes you can bypass this lame time-wasting game by showing that she and you don’t need to play it.

But if she continues, then I can be aloof to a much greater extent than almost anyone. Reward and punishment.

That being said, younger/immature girls will feel the need to be this way to a greater extent regardless, simply because they have very little else to offer in the way of ‘game’.

I think thats kind of funny. I wouldn’t do that. Actually, I think it’s creepy. I’ve asked cross streets before, but an address seems intense. “I met you 10 minutes ago but need to be able to knock on your door.”

I’ve gone out with girls for weeks before ever seeing their place.

Just like two hours ago I got a number and asked her to just call me real quick. I do that a lot, if a girl goes for a pen or starts quoting digits. Like a test to see she’s into giving me her number. She’ll still do it, but you can gauge excitement/interest.

maybe their the same thing and im just hypersensitive about being creepy

If you’re in south america there’s plenty of lag in the phone networks. The more important confounding variable is that all people are procrastinators. When presented with a task that requires work, as little as it may be, people will procrastinate by first checking their e-mail, taking a dump, watching the rest of a crappy sitcom etc.
