Roosh, thanks for the great article! And all you Rooshites who envy Roosh and just love to travel and get paid for writing blog articles about your travels, Volette would like to announce that we are paying for great travel articles! It's gotta be something unique and interesting (no, a trip to the Eastern Shore or Woodbridge doesn't count)... and Volette has to look it over and approve it for publication first! So pack up and get those cameras fired up, and get out there travellin' so we can have something to put up on the Volette blog! Okay??

Perito Moreno was a great man, and the glacier is amazing. The noise of the ice falling from to the water is really impressing.

My dad is obsessed with Patagonia - read practically every book written about it, since the first expeditions- and to a large extent he instilled that love in the rest of us. He took all my family (including my grandparents- I was afraid they would die!) on a hiking trip to El Chalten and Torres del Paine some years ago, camping in the middle of them... and afraid of stories about pumas in the region. But I did not hike to the top of the Fitz Roy (Chalten, as per its indigenous name), nor Cerro Torre of course. Too bad you did not have the necessary gear. There are some incedible sights around there.

Maybe next trip you can do that and go to Tierra del Fuego as well- the last piece of land before Antarctica. Something that would be pretty unforgettable would be to go on an expedition to the Hielos Continentales (continental ice)... trekking and camping on glaciers for 1-2 weeks, with no tourists around.
