PRIVATE MEETUPS: Protocol To Attend Meetups That Now Have Hidden Meeting Locations

(Via ROK)

The world is moving against us. I’ve gotten reports of over a dozen organized protests at our meeting points. Dozens more are being organized privately. Since this meetup was never intended as a confrontation with unattractive women and their enablers, I’m moving to save as many of these meetups as I can before Saturday so that men can still meet in private away from a loud, obnoxious, dishonest, and potentially violent mob.

If you take a look at the full listing page, you’ll see that some meetups have had their location removed and have instead been replaced with an email address or two to contact. If you want to attend one of the newly private meetups, send an email to the address(es) proving that you’re one of us. These are the three ways that you’ll be about to do that:

  • If you’ve left a non-hater comment on ROK or using your Disqus account before January 15.
  • If you have an active account on RVF that is at least three months old.
  • If you can provide a screenshot receipt of one of my books (Amazon, iTunes, Kobo, Paypal, etc) that was purchased before January 15.

Disqus Proof

Follow these steps if you want to provide proof using Disqus.

Step 1: Make sure that your Disqus profile is visible so that anyone can see your posting history. If you’re logged into Disqus, click this link and make sure the “Keep your profile activity private” option at the bottom is unchecked.

Step 2: Check your comment history to make sure you have a visible comment left on ROK before January 15 that a host can see.

Step 3: Leave a comment anywhere on ROK with the name of the city whose meetup you want to attend.

Step 4: Grab the permanent URL of the comment you just left by simply clicking on the timestamp of the comment and then copying the address that is now in your URL bar. It will look something like this:

Step 5: Send that URL to the email(s) provided on the listing page.

Forum Proof

Step 1: Leave a comment on this thread with the city meetup you want to attend.

Step 2: Grab the permanent link to your comment by clicking the number next to it.

Step 3: Send the URL that is now in your address bar.

Book Proof

Search through your email for a receipt to any of my books you’ve purchased or donations you’ve made to ROK before January 15. Send that screenshot as an email attachment. For security precautions, censor out your last name or any private billing information.

After you provide one of the above methods of proof, you will get an email reply with the new meetup location. Due to the massive outrage against us at certain locations, we can not allow in men who are unable to establish this protocol.

Check The Listing Page Daily

In the next 24 hours, many meetups will be made private. Give the listing page one extra check before you set out on Saturday evening. If ROK is offline for any reason, a copy of the listings are available on (it’s clearly linked at the top of the right column). If my blog is also offline then check my Twitter for a pinned tweet.

We’re not going to be able to privatize all the meetups that are being threatened with protest, but we’ll save the ones that are in the most critical danger. Because the outrage started abroad first, it looks like we’ll be able to save most of the foreign meetups that are threatened. On Wednesday I will make moves to protect some US meetups and also to provide you with a detailed security protocol. Stay tuned.
