a little more insight on the ‘Canadian bus ride’, the writer exhibits typical regional ignorance found in the majority of southern ontario. Racism towards native canadians is rampant and people scoff at college kids who take up summer jobs as tree planters, earn $300 dollars per day, and by virtue of the 80,000 trees they personally planted in the last 2 months makes them a lifetime more ‘green’ than recycling yuppies. You’ll never hear it from an Ontario urban dweller, but the rest of the country hates them.
