hmm well I think we can all agree that cockblocking sucks, but I think that guys need to be careful to not be too obvious about the “cast a wide net” approach when talking to a group of girls– meaning hitting on every girl and seeing who will bite. I don’t think that the situation here, but guys should keep in mind that all women, no matter how jaded, are romantics at heart and want to feel that they are special. Hitting on her, her best friend, and the three girls down the bar makes it pretty clear that you are just trying to get laid and will lower your status in her eyes.
