hey roosh
so for the past few weeks whenever i go out i end up meeting a girl, and we end up hooking up (read: making out) and get her # and make plans to hang out and go out for dinner in the future

but whenever i call her back the following day or two she never calls back

what gives? is this an aspect of the game or what?

Holy shit, I'm a woman Joe? That's news to me. I was actually agreeing with Roosh, not obfuscating the issue because it was a touchy subject.

Roosh said that women will leave when they don't get enough attention. Estrada equated that statement into "women leave because there aren't enough men." My take was that the two are not the same. A woman can get a lot of attention with only a few men there and stay. She can have an army of cock there but if no one is paying her attention, she'll still leave anyway. I was agreeing with Roosh, not trying to obfuscate anything or make excuses for women.

If a group of guys goes to a club and don't get any attention from women, they'll leave, and someone will say, "The chicks in here won't give us the time of day," out loud, and everyone will agree.

If a girl, or a group of girls, go to a club, and don't get any attention from guys, they'll leave, creating some kind of false pretext. Back in the day, it used to be something like, "Oh! I have to go home to feed my cat!" or "Oh! It's getting late and we have to go home to catch the last 10 minutes of SNL".

Now, it's more likely to be some "alpha female" excuse like, "My sister-in-crime here parked her Maserati in the middle of the hood, and we still have 3 crack deals to do tonight", or "Oh! We have a late-night flight to Paris for an important business meeting with KPMG tomorrow morning!"

But it's still a phony excuse.

Why is it that guys are more direct and much more willing to accept, and admit, rejection?

Also, T's comments, like the typical comments one would expect from a female on this touchy subject, were obfuscatory. They garbled the issue. The question was not about relative numbers of people of the opposite sex in a club who you might find attractive. The question was about people's reactions when not getting attention from members of the opposite sex in a club.

Ha! You're right, Roosh. Women are experts at creating spurious pretexts when things don't go their way.

Hm. If she leaves because of not enough men (same as not being hit on)...

It really isn't the same thing. A woman doesn't really care about the quantity of guys present if it turns out none of them are paying her attention. On the flipside, if there's very few guys but a few quality ones are giving her serious attention, she'd stay.

that's true. or she has someone she's totally in love with, so the attention or lack there of from guys is meaningless.

Hm. If she leaves because of not enough men (same as not being hit on), and he leaves because of not enough women, is there ever an optimal mix that will keep a venue rocking late into the night? I would guess that this optimal mix would be slanted towards larger numbers of women since they tend to gather in larger groups, and because the monsters will stay when their mice can play, I would initially guess a 60/40 w/m mix would be game-theoretically optimal.

Fatigue or some type of work obligation is never enough to stop someone from spending time to get to know someone new they like.

This post was short but right on.

I think just about any prior engagement, sign of disinterest, or fatigue immediately gets discarded once the right guy comes along. Even rules supposedly set in stone like "I don't like when a guy calls me too soon after meeting him" get disregarded when its the right guy. Same goes for not having time for the phone, to meet, etc. If she likes you, she'll find the time and then some. Too many guys take the excuses at face value.
