I decided to reread Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World not long after reviewing his nonfiction work Brave New World Revisited. I wondered if our society has made “progress” on achieving Huxley’s dystopian vision, and to that I can answer in the affirmative. In only a decade we have wholeheartedly descended into a level of slavery and hedonistic savagery that even Huxley did not imagine.
You will enjoy being a slave
A really efficient totalitarian state would be one in which the all-powerful executive of political bosses and their army of managers control a population of slaves who do not have to be coerced, because they love their servitude.
This excerpt is from the author’s forward. Huxley was close with his prediction: approximately half of the population loves their servitude, and will attack you directly for not loving servitude like them, but as for the other half, a 1984 style of ad hoc boot-on-your-face tyranny managed by AI drones and deranged transsexuals will have to do. No one will escape their grasp.
Standard-issue humans
“Bokanovsky’s Process is one of the major instruments of social stability!”
Major instruments of social stability.
Standard men and women; in uniform batches. The whole of a small factory staffed with the products of a single bokanovskified egg.
“Ninety-six identical twins working ninety-six identical machines!” The voice was almost tremulous with enthusiasm. “You really know where you are. For the first time in history.” He quoted the planetary motto. “Community, Identity, Stability.” Grand words. “If we could bokanovskify indefinitely the whole problem would be solved.”
Solved by standard Gammas, unvarying Deltas, uniform Epsilons. Millions of identical twins. The principle of mass production at last applied to biology.
This feat has been achieved not with biology but standardized education, entertainment, and news. Wherever I went in the United States on my grand tour, I repeatedly observed archetypes of the same individual. The atheist enthroned to lust on the West Coast is similar to his counterpart on the East Coast. The lukewarm Christian who fell for the prosperity Gospel in the South is the same as one in the Midwest. Even the same corporations were present nationwide, meaning that everyone consumed the same products, and since very few people seek out old books to add variety to the modern propaganda their brain receives, most Americans seem to be converging into one standard type of human, and this applies even to both sexes which are converging upon an androgynous form that denies the very basis of nature.
Pre-destination of the young
“The surrogate goes round slower; therefore passes through the lung at longer intervals; therefore gives the embryo less oxygen. Nothing like oxygen-shortage for keeping an embryo below par.” Again he rubbed his hands.
“But why do you want to keep the embryo below par?” asked an ingenuous student.
“Ass!” said the Director, breaking a long silence. “Hasn’t it occurred to you that an Epsilon embryo must have an Epsilon environment as well as an Epsilon heredity?”

Hot tunnels alternated with cool tunnels. Coolness was wedded to discomfort in the form of hard X-rays. By the time they were decanted the embryos had a horror of cold. They were predestined to emigrate to the tropics, to be miners and acetate silk spinners and steel workers. Later on their minds would be made to endorse the judgment of their bodies. “We condition them to thrive on heat,” concluded Mr. Foster. “Our colleagues upstairs will teach them to love it.”
“And that,” put in the Director sententiously, “that is the secret of happiness and virtue-liking what you’ve got to do. All condition aims at that: making people like their unescapable social destiny.”
The regime wants to predestine you to servitude. The force that directs and steers the regime, Satan, wants to predestine you to hell. Children are now wearing face masks that limit their oxygen intake. Fetuses will be subject to their mother’s decision to be injected with experimental mRNA serums. And just wait until people rush to have their DNA modified to “improve mental performance” or implant themselves with a neuro-brain chip that Elon Musk swears is safe. Before children even have a chance to exert their free will, their bodies will be poisoned and mutilated, but I have no doubt that God will make accommodations for this devilry and allow everyone to choose whether or not they want to be saved.
Attack on monogamy
“But seriously,” she said, “I really do think you ought to be careful. It’s such horribly bad form to go on and on like this with one man. At forty, or thirty-five, it would be so bad. But at your age, Lenina! No, it really won’t do. And you know how strongly the D.H.C. objects to anything intense or long-drawn. Four months of Henry Foster, without having another man-why, he’d be furious if he knew…”
“Of course there’s no need to give him up. Have somebody else from time to time, that’s all. He has other girls, doesn’t he?”
Lenina admitted it.

Lenina shook her head. “Somehow,” she mused, “I hadn’t been feeling very keen on promiscuity lately. There are times when one doesn’t. Haven’t you found that too, Fanny?”
Fanny nodded her sympathy and understanding. “But one’s got to make the effort,” she said, sententiously, “one’s got to play the game. After all, everyone one belongs to every one else.”
“Yes, every one belongs to every one else,” Lenina repeated slowly and, sighing, was silent for a moment; then, taking Fanny’s hand, gave it a little squeeze. “You’re quite right, Fanny. As usual. I’ll make the effort.”

“But it’s absurd to let yourself get into a state like this. Simply absurd,” she repeated “And what about? A man—one man.”
“But he’s the one I want.”
“As though there weren’t millions of other men in the world.”
“But I don’t want them.”
“How can you know till you’ve tried?”
“I have tried.”
“But how many?” asked Fanny, shrugging her shoulders contemptuously. “One, two?”
“Dozens. But,” shaking her head, “it wasn’t any good,” she added.
“Well, you must persevere,” said Fanny sententiously.

The lift was crowded with men from the Alpha Changing Rooms, and Lenina’s entry was greeted by many friendly nods and smiles. She was a popular girl and, at one time or another, had spent a night with almost all of them.
The propagandists of Brave New World drilled ideas of promiscuity into sleeping children (hypnopaedia), ensuring that every male and female would be a fornicator upon adulthood. We are worse off: promiscuity is drilled into us while we are awake. In the novel, Lenina’s conscience urged her to pursue only one man, the traditional “savage,” but her friend repeatedly tried to convince her out of it.
Are the above passages so out of place among women of our times? The demonic “you go girl” meme of feminism pushes females into having multiple sex partners to not only deaden their conscience but to reduce the possibility of ever having children. You only need two decades of intense propaganda on an adult female to completely destroy her ability to ever have children. Soon, I predict that single women in their 40s and beyond will become such a danger that we will have to protect real mothers from their wrathful physical assaults. These women will “go postal” by attacking what they do not have.
Slaves prefer their slavery
“But do you like being slaves?” the Savage was saying as they entered the Hospital. His face was flushed, his eyes bright with ardour and indignation. “Do you like being babies? Yes, babies. Mewling and puking,” he added, exasperated by their bestial stupidity into throwing insults at those he had come to save. The insults bounced off their carapace of thick stupidity; they stared at him with a blank expression of dull and sullen resentment in their eyes.”
When people choose their slavery by choice, they will attack you if you call them a slave. They are blind to their own slavery and so will come to believe that the free man is the real slave.
The one who doesn’t want to get the vaccine is a slave to “conspiracy theories”; he’s a slave to “lies” that were satisfactorily fact-checked on all of the regime’s news outlets. The one who doesn’t embrace same-sex marriage and public sodomy actually have low intelligence—the regime’s best scientists say so (quite literally). You can unlock all prison doors confining the useful idiots of the state and they will merely curse you and lock themselves back in.
Year Zero must be achieved
“But why is [the book] prohibited? ” asked the Savage. In the excitement of meeting a man who had read Shakespeare he had momentarily forgotten everything else.
The Controller shrugged his shoulders. “Because it’s old; that’s the chief reason. We haven’t any use for old things here.”
“Even when they’re beautiful?”
“Particularly when they’re beautiful. Beauty’s attractive, and we don’t want people to be attracted by old things. We want them to like the new ones.”
It’s hard to be successful with social engineering that pushes degeneracy when citizens still possess traditional beliefs of old. The aim of every revolution is to destroy as many traditional beliefs as possible to create a societal mob of humans whose brains have been washed of notions that conflict with the goals of the current regime, as if they were MK Ultra zombies. What we have to ask, either within our generation or the next, is what will happen if they manage to wipe out enough traditional beliefs that most of our neighbors act more beastly than human?
The unrealized utopia
The world’s stable now. People are happy; they get what they want, and they never want what they can’t get. They’re well off; they’re safe; they’re never ill; they’re not afraid of death; they’re blissfully ignorant of passion and old age; they’re plagued with no mothers or fathers; they’ve got no wives, or children, or lovers to feel strongly about; they’re so conditioned that they practically can’t help behaving as they ought to behave. And if anything should go wrong, there’s soma.”
This “heaven” will never be achieved. Humans will never be happy without God, no matter how much junk food, Chinese electronics, or vaccines you give them. The greed of the rich will ensure a growing class of poor; crime and filth and disease will follow. More efforts will be made to pathetically achieve eternal life without God. The inner spirit of man and woman will call out to become fathers and mothers and to create little children who curiously pursue this thing or that. The very essence of humanity will never be eradicated, no matter how much darkness envelops one’s soul, because as long as you are alive on this earth, God loves you, and patiently waits with mercy for all humans to step into His light.
Eradicating God
“Call it the fault of civilization. God isn’t compatible with machinery and scientific medicine and universal happiness. You must make your choice. Our civilization has chosen machinery and medicine and happiness.”

‘You can only be independent of God while you’ve got youth and prosperity; independence won’t take you safely to the end.’ Well, we’ve now got youth and prosperity right up to the end. What follows? Evidently, that we can be independent of God.
God is dead to those who want Him dead, but very much alive to those who were able to wipe the muck from their eyes and see His presence in all aspects of creation. They feel His comfort upon receiving communion, they receive His aid in moments of suffering, and they experience His Providence firsthand as dealt by a loving neighbor. The regime is in essence creating a parallel world where God is not, but one does not have to stray very far from that world into one where God is everywhere.
Conclusion
Aldous Huxley appears to have been an insider who advised the proto-globalist elites of his time. Judging by where we are today, I have to assume that they accepted Huxley’s advice concerning the scientific management of the entire planet, and even though we know the basic outline of their plans, that does not make it any easier to live day after day in an increasingly oppressive world.
Those who serve the dictates of the regime are rewarded with money and sex slaves while those of us at the bottom will have to be grateful for our daily bread, waiting patiently for the promised Day of Judgment when our faith and patience is rewarded for being a good servant not of the evil men of our times but our Almighty Creator and Lord. I hope to endure the “brave new world” that horrifies me to wait for one to come whose blessedness my mind cannot even begin to imagine.
