Black Jumper

I need some help. In December 2007 my jumper (I think that’s what it’s called) was stolen from a hostel in El Calafate, Argentina. Here is the last known photo of me wearing it:

Glacier roosh

Let’s take a closer look at the jumper:

Beautiful jumper

Notice the quality, starting with the heavy-duty zipper. The bold racing stripes add a nice touch. And it’s hard to tell from the photo but there are two zippered pockets on the side. The random chest graphic tastefully avoids advertising the brand (Buffalo). Finally, there is no hood, which I like.

I’ve looked for months to find a replacement but I got nothing. Once Spring hits it’ll be hopeless. What specific store can I buy this in DC or New York? I’m willing to drop $100. My only requirements is it has to be black, hoodless, with pockets and a non-obnoxious design. I’m desperate. I’m ready to make guys on the street offers on the spot when I see something I like.

This would be fine if it didn’t have a hood:

The reason I say New York is because I’m going there today for about a week. There has to be a place on the East Coast that sells this.

I have nearly an exact photo of me on the same boat. Except I went in June and it was so cold I couldn’t stand outside for more than 10 seconds without feeling like my face was cracking.

Try eBay. I know this item isn’t exactly the same, but maybe you’ll like it:

And…you may be able to pick it up on the cheap.

Try H&M. You can’t buy their stuff online in the U.S. and their collection generally varies from store to store, but I’m sure I’ve seen stuff just like this there plenty of times before. Reasonably priced as well.

G Star makes awesome urbanwear in the styles shown above! They have a store in Boston and I assume they have one in Manhattan, but beware, they can be a bit pricey.

OK, because I have way too much time on my hands :

This site features G Star Raw’s jumper-line, which definitely would suit you, however they seem to often run over $100. Anyway, even though the above site is a UK site, G Star Raw does indeed have a store located in Manhattan.

One time I spilled ink on one of my favorite shirts. I was pissed as hell. They no longer carried that shirt at the store so I was bummed. Then not long after, I was looking through a 2nd hand store and saw that same exact shirt, only one there, in my size, brand new for like $10. I literally couldn’t believe it. Miracles happen.

Another thing, when I’m traveling and have limited space to bring outfits, I try to only bring clothes that are very basic colors and no writing or designs on them. Because I’m probably just going to have a few shirts I’m going to wear the entire trip and don’t want every photo I take in different locations having on that same shirt that draws attention to itself. I can wear a plain black tshirt in every photo and nobody would really notice or care if I wore the same stinky shirt for 3 weeks. It just won’t be that obvious. But when wearing something obvious, like Roosh’s shirt here and having it appear in multiple photos, it makes it obvious.

Not a big deal, if you don’t care about that sort of thing. That’s just my personal packing rule. I stick to the bare bones basics.
