I think carving out a following like you did is a lot more tough these days in the age of information overload where the next best thing is always just one click away.

Very reputable posters from reddit’s TheRedPill tried for example like and they got a very lackluster following on their blogs monetized via Patreon exclusive blog posts.

Affiliate marketing is played out and you’re essentially a pimp for other people’s (shady) products. The number of people that made a reasonabe living from that is tiny.

Products is what most people end up making money on, if the product is decent and if they have the skill and financial resources to market them.

In the age of virtual monopolies, constant consolidation and crazy competition making a long lasting income and gaining independence from the pozzed system requires ever increasing amounts of skill, persistence, luck and preferably some financial resources.

I agree the climate is getting more difficult. The smartphone, combined with social networking, changed everything. If I got my start today, I wouldn’t be as known since my skill is through long-form articles, which seems to be dying out.

My question for you is this, what do you think your overall written word count is on say a monthly basis. Assuming all forms of writing are expressive and lead to actual content, or creative thoughts. I was doing some math on my own content and find my goals work out to be 20,000-30,000 words a month.

You should do a live one some day. A dude I know locally not even a pro pulled if off tonight on facebook. Not even well known, just a dude I have met twice who organized a Jordan Peterson group. I was impressed, he did a good job at it (but room to improve to really be pro.)
