Thailand bans Pornhub

Under Thailand’s new cybercrime law, Pornhub, along with 190 other porn sites and gambling sites, have been blocked so that citizens can no longer access them.

The Diplomat reported that “The move comes just days after the kingdom’s Deputy Prime Minister, Prawit Wongsuwan, issued a new policy directive calling on the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society to act against sites that caused ‘improper behavior’ among the younger generation.”

The Manushya Foundation, founded in 2017 by Emilie Palamy Pradichit, is leading the fight against the porn ban in Thailand.

Manushya purports to be a “women-led & innovative non-profit organization promoting community empowerment to advance the human rights.”

I hate the vast VAST majority of porn and find it disgusting/boring but I'm also an appreciator (daresay historian?) of drawn sex acts of various fictional characters, both from western and eastern illustrators... and it feels wrong to lump them together.

Even if we have criticisms for porn as a whole, I think we can also recognize that some are far more disturbing/decrepit than others.

The ones with stories, emotion, etc. seem to be more of a thinking man's game than the hardcore fetishistic shit that normies are exposed to en-masse.
