You can’t leave Argentina without trying a lomito (steak & cheese), though I think the American “Philly” style is better. There are also milanesas (breaded chicken sandwich) that you will find everywhere. It’s similar to the McChicken.
You’re not eating the proper Argentine breakfast unless you are eating a glazed croissant (media luna) or something with dulce de leche, a caramel version of Nutella. You will come across many cakes and pastries that also have dulce de leche.
Argentine steak is hyped up but other than the lower price, it’s not obviously better than what you would find in an American steakhouse.
The absolute must-try is Argentine women… if they give you the time of day.
