A term that kept coming up in my research on modern governments was “Hegelian Dialectic.” I spent some time studying it to understand not only what it was, but how it is being used by the ruling class to manipulate the public into fulfilling a pre-determined agenda.

Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel

First described by Enlightenment German philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, the Hegelian Dialectic is a mechanism to arrive at a final truth or conclusion. Right now you probably use the Aristotelian method for arriving at truth, which is to observe all the facts of the situation and then make the most logical conclusion based from those observations. Hegel explained a process where truth is instead arrived through the friction and conflict between one force (the thesis) and its opposite (the antithesis). The final result from that clash, the synthesis, is the best conclusion.

In all likelihood, the synthesis is not the final and absolute truth. It becomes the new thesis where a new antithesis forms to oppose it. The conflict between them leads to a second synthesis. This process repeats until the final synthesis is revealed, which theoretically is absolute truth.

In plain terms, the Hegelian Dialectic is the battle of two extremes to get a result that is somewhere in the middle. That result will develop an opposing force of its own and the ensuing battle yields another result. The objective reality we have right now has incorporated within it all previous “battles” of thesis and antithesis since the beginning of time, meaning that—according to the theory—we are living in a progressive arc to absolute truth and world perfection.

Examples of thesis and antithesis

Thesis: British and French power hegemony after World War 1
Anti-thesis: Hitler
Synthesis: USA hegemony

Thesis: Traditional conservatism
Anti-thesis: Marxism
Synthesis: Globalism

Thesis: USA government losing domestic power
Anti-thesis: 9/11
Synthesis: Patriot act, NSA spying

Thesis: Feminism
Anti-thesis: PUA, MRA, neomasculinity
Synthesis: ?

The nation dialectic

Hegel proposed his dialectic as a natural way of arriving at the truth, but had in mind that the nation itself was the vehicle to create new syntheses. Like most Enlightenment thinkers, he threw god away and made the nation-state god instead. The modern elite has taken this a step further by pre-determining a synthesis (a specific agenda) and then developing events that arrive at that synthesis through artificial means.

If the elite has a result they would like to have, whether it be increased authoritarian rule or a war that solidifies their power, all they have to do is devise an anti-thesis that will lead to the outcome they want. This is commonly done through false flag attacks, where the government of a nation attacks itself so that it can respond in the way that it had wanted to all along, because it’s only through that attack would citizens agree to the planned synthesis. False flag attacks are in fact a common way for governments to fulfill their goals.

Here are two Hegelian loops we may be currently living through:

Problem (thesis): Russia refuses to enter the New World Order
Reaction (anti-thesis): Destabilize Ukraine and Syria, forcing Russia to act aggressively
Solution (synthesis): Create pretext for removing Russian leadership and installing Western rulers,

Problem: Nationalism in Europe
Reaction: Allow millions of Afro-Islamists
Solution: Strengthening of United Nations and European Union to “protect” people from social unrest

People use the dialectic in their own lives when trying to solve problems:

Problem: Not receiving enough attention
Reaction: Invent drama, catastrophes, diseases
Solution: Receive attention from family, friends, strangers

What the ruling elite does, and have been doing for centuries, is create reactions which requires solutions they had wanted all along. The reaction (e.g. 9/11) puts citizens in a state of fear and anxiety that allows easily implementation of the solution without resistance. Would Americans have protested the Patriot Act more strongly if 9/11 had never occurred? They’d probably laugh at its proposal, just like how they laughed at George W. Bush’s attempts to privatize Social Security at the start of his second term.

Beware of government “solutions”

One way you know the government is using the Hegelian dialectic to fulfill their agenda is when they have a ready-made solution immediately after an event, all without public debate. This is most commonly seen in the United States with gun control, where after every mass shooting, calls for limiting sales of guns are made by the media and government. Strict gun control or outright confiscation is a pre-determined solution in the USA that will certainly be attempted in the future.

From Nero burning Rome to Hitler burning the Reichstag, power-mad leaders across the decades have manufactured crises in order to present the public with situations where their Police State solutions “make sense”.

“Give up your rights — it’s for your safety…”

Every major financial crisis America has experienced in her history has followed this same Hegelian dialectic pattern with the outcome being another incremental step toward world financial domination by an elite few. [Source]

A related use of the Hegelian dialectic is to create the appearance of healthy governmental opposition. We see this in the United States where both Democrats and Republicans are two heads of the same body. They create a theater show for the public that two opposing forces are debating and compromising to serve the interests of the nation when they are actually both controlled by the same globalists who donate money to both parties. The cuckservative phenomenon has shown that mainstream conservatives are nearly identical to the left besides a few hot button issues like abortion and religion (they have even converged on homosexual marriage).

In the West the choice is basically between a controlled ‘left-oriented’ information, and a controlled ‘right-oriented’ information. The conflict between the two CONTROLLED groups keeps an apparent informational conflict alive. Unwelcome facts that fall into either camp are conveniently forgotten. Books that fall into either camp can be effectively neutralized because they will incur the wrath of both ‘right’ and ‘left’. The faster the cattle run, the faster the treadmill takes them to nowhere.

The Hegelian dialectic is being employed to secure and sustain absolute world power and authority to an elite. [Source]

…the Hegelian dialectic requires a thesis and an antithesis, a pro and a con. Are these not absolutes? Is not the very concept of left and right, east and west, black and white, etc., required by the dialectic a confirmation of absolutism itself? [Source]

A reasonably titled policy like “sustainable development” is part of a dialectic to control human behavior and reproduction

It’s effortless to rule when you have citizens programmed to demand the changes that match your agenda:

The disturbing aspect to Alinsky’s approach for “radical social change” is his belief in the Marxist-Leninist method of always keeping the masses demoralized so they will demand change, or even insist the system be abolished altogether. [Source]

Many of us are already aware of what the elite is doing to society in order to maintain control. The Hegelian dialectic allows us to see how they are doing it, adding an important piece of the puzzle to more easily recognize their authoritarian schemes.

Whenever a crisis occurs that politicians, governments, world organizations like the United Nations, IMF, World Bank, US Fed, or countless other quasi-governmental entities have a solution for, three things are certain:

1. Their solution will not solve the original problem.
2. The problem was possibly created themselves in order to introduce their desired “solution.”
3. The engineered process of Problem-Reaction-Solution is reducing your liberty and making you more dependent on the state.

After violent catastrophes and global events, think for a moment to see what their real agenda is based on the reaction by those in power, and consider resisting if you have the strength to do so. To be on the safe side, you can assume that just about any non-local solution by the government is part of a plan to hurt you, and that it will have the opposite stated effect if allowed to be implemented.[culturewar]

What we need is a coherent answer, or ‘antithesis’ to all the controlled theses of the Left/NWO. Currently the NWO thesis has too many monopolies and no contrarian positions.

    Thesis: Gay Pride Parades
Antithesis: Shame Parades (lamenting Western degeneracy)

Thesis: MTV Music Videos Celebrating Vice, drugs, sex, satanism
Antithesis: Music Videos celebrating human virtues, strength, honesty, beauty

Thesis: Good Looking Actors in favor of feminism/leftism (Brad Pitt)
Antithesis: Good Looking Conservative actors in favor of virtues

Thesis: Shitty modern art like giant turds (
Antithesis: Traditionalist art celebrating virtue and beauty

Thesis: RSD Julien Blanc should be shamed for
Antithesis: CNN and other media should be shamed for lackluster journalism and manipulative reporting

    Thesis: Left-indoctrinated Universities
    Antithesis: Reactionary Universities

    Thesis: The Daily Show
Antithesis: A political commentary comedy show that makes fun of degeneracy, modern art…

Thesis: Leftist postmodern cultural marxist Art Schools
    Antithesis: Traditionalist Art Schools

    Thesis: Leftist Progressive Think Tanks
    Antithesis: Heritage Foundation

Thesis: Leftist economics like Keynes or Friedman
    Antithesis: Austrian economics like Mises

    Thesis:; Buzzfeed
    Antithesis:; Degeneracyfeed

Thesis: Gay Pride Flag option of Facebook
Antithesis: I just deadlifted 200 lbs Flag option of Facebook

Thesis: TV shows with subtext of homosexual acceptance/superiority
Antithesis: TV show accurately depicting 100+ lay counts; rampant degeneracy; total lack of morals

Thesis: Rainbowcast JJ Abrams Star Wars Female Protagonist; Mad Max
Antithesis: Cinematography celebrating tradition, masculine virtues

Thesis: The Onion; absurdism with a liberal leftist sub text
Antithesis: Sam Hyde; absurdism with a rightish sub text

There’s a lot more going on with the Alternative Right at the moment; there’s sites like, there’s Return of Kings, there’s Neomasculinity, there’s the Red Pill, there’s MPC dot com. But in the end, the ‘antithesis’ to NWO/Leftism is still scattered.

I hope we’ll see more conservative antithesis filling in more holes, because a reliable conservative alternative is sorely missing in areas like education, music, arts and entertainment.

Appreciate your post. It occurs to me that the reason there is no “middle” is not by mistake, but rather a purposeful void to keep us chasing our hegelian tails up that thesis/antithesis/synthesis spiral (ironic how even the diagram keeps one on an endless loop).
Solutions abound but that cannot be admitted because it would shut down the nwo initiative.
You know you’re getting too close to the truth when they’re censoring your tweets and fb posts…

  3. The Thraex January 15, 2016 at 11:39 am

Hegel’s theory was influenced by Giordano Bruno who believed in a kind of dualistic pantheism, in which the divine is incarnate in every part but always in conflicting forms that both oppose and support each other. Bruno may have had a role in the invention of either Rosicrucianism or Freemasonry or both.

Problem (thesis): Russia refuses to enter the New World Order

If you persists with your research and if you stay true to your heart, you’ll find that Russia today is a part of the NWO because the USSR did not die, the project only took a slight turn but the end goal is still the same. Communism just go re-branded.

The NWO has always been about imposing a state of global communism (they used to call it Internationalism, now it’s Global Economy). The plan has always been for the West and the USSR to merge together but the plan had to be amended a little.

They use Problem-Reaction-Solution to fool the public about certain policies but the path they follow is more or less a straight line.

    Very good article, btw! Congratulations.

    1. zippyfu January 15, 2016 at 12:13 pm

I kinda figured Russia was NWO-lite and behind the adoption curve, especially since Putin came to power. However, I’m not clear where China fits into the NWO puzzle.

      1. The Thraex January 15, 2016 at 12:19 pm

Both countries have been officially under communist regime. China still is officially. Russia to a certain extend plays by the Nazi Germany scenario. On paper it opposes the Freemasonry but we all know what happened in the end.

China is a Godless giant factory where people are nothing but workers destined to work, eat, sleep, buy cheap shit and die. That’s communism (re-branded).

      2. Be.Mccoy February 17, 2016 at 8:54 am

That is where they are trying to push us with all these drugs, police brutalities in and out of schools (where kids must witness dehumanization by govt and shitty parents), and stigmatizing masculinity. It burns me that people mindlessly buy into it and that there are so many programs that are out to buy your independances like imho tax refunds.

It helps make the machine look better and decreases questioning as far as what our money is used for. Rebranding is everything.

  5. TSK January 15, 2016 at 4:13 pm

Reminds me. Government creates imaginary enemy to put fear into the civilian population. Civilian population lives in paranoia and entrusts the government for security and safety in exchange of some freedom. Support the US government to install more intrusive measures (because yeah we gotta “git em the ‘terrorists’ away”). Government is happy with this because the plan works so easily and the gullible sheep masses live among each other with more disdain, fear, paranoia and distrust. Easy to rule over already divided population.

The masses always fall for it, again time after time. Easy to fool the masses and give them “good feel good fairy tale stories” and what they want to think. Truth is so hard for some people to accept; they will hate you for it. So if you are the powerful person, it’s just so easy to just rule over dumb, emotional, and impulsive masses through this way.

A determined, armed, and ready civilian population united all the way is the biggest threat to any major government, institutions and upper class.

I can see a good example of this Hegelian Dialectic.

US and other western countries invade Syria in the pretext of Assad-Syrian rebel incident. Make ISIS; plant them in Middle East in particular Syria and parts of Iraq. Conspire with the media and make the population think that we’re bombing ISIS targets when the government is really bombing the Syrian infrastructure further destabilizing the country; more people killed from this airstrike creates more angry Syrians who will nonetheless seek revenge and hatred against the US. Some of them slip up among the refugee population who will either enter Europe or USA. Among those crowded population are hidden rebel fighters who have fighting experience. Import third world population into USA and Europe to create more ethnic/racial/religious tension.

Have the stock price for Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Boeing to go up while major corporations conspire with rich politicians to get major profit from the war.

Some lose lives, some lose hope and others win billion dollars in the process.

WAR = Business. Nasty business where human lives are discarded like a plastic wrappers.

    1. The Thraex January 15, 2016 at 5:14 pm

The manosphere is falling for the Islamic terrorist “enemy” too. Are we also “dumb, emotional, and impulsive masses”?

      1. TSK January 15, 2016 at 5:32 pm

Well I’m speaking in general consensus; not towards any particular defined group(s).

The situation today is unpreventable so it wouldn’t be fair to just mock the masses for having emotional tirade as a result of what is going on in today’s current event. I’m just stating as it is; no hard feeling towards any group. I’m also part of the masses as well so I’m not much exception because it would be a lie if I said I always acted with logic and reason.

However there will always be a game player and the chess piece. I’m just observing life as unfortunate but realistic viewpoint so don’t take what I said as personal attack against Manosphere. I’m also part of Manosphere. I see that group mentality is thus strong though which can be good and not so good way; depend how it’s used.

Roosh, can you explain why sometimes you write God with a capital g and sometimes without? It varies from book to book and from article to article. It really baffles me and I have a wild set of theories about it, but it might just be an inconsistency in your writing (which is peculiar).

  7. Didactus James January 15, 2016 at 6:50 pm

You have this out of order and your spiral graphic is just wrong. The thesis is the current paradigm. The antithesis is the new paradigm that’s being pushed for. The synthesis always falls between the two, it NEVER goes beyond the proposed antithesis. That was Hegels critical observation, that people don’t like to change and are never willing to be pushed all the way to the paradigm of the antithesis, they always compromise on a synthesis.

For those who wanted to change the current paradigm, it became obvious that pushing for a “reasonable” change to the current paradigm would never get the change they wanted because the synthesis was always somewhere in the middle between the current paradigm and the desired paradigm. The obvious solution was to make the antithesis so outrageous and so bold that the desired syntheses looks pretty reasonable in comparison.

THAT is the power of the hegelian dialectic.

This is where the power of a false flag operation comes into its own. By manipulating public opinion through the use of false flag events, the public can be manipulated with ease to accept a synthesis that was unthinkable prior to the false flag op. Similar to a false flag op is manipulating an enemy into actually making an attack in order to utilize the attack as a pretext to do the unthinkable. The attack on Pearl Harbor is a classic example. In fact, combining a major false flag event with the big lie technique has been perfected in the last 100 years and there are numerous examples such as the Reichstagg fire, the OKC bombing and even 9/11 come to mind because they succeeded in becoming cusp events that forever changed public attitudes.

The problem with countering hegelian dialectic is the people who would want to counter it are not, as a rule, willing to engage in such blatant manipulation and trickery as their opponents. And the average sheep out there knows nothing but what they feel.

    1. Andrea January 18, 2016 at 12:02 pm

Your last paragraph is right on point. There was a lot of us who knew what the Iraq war was all about and protested against it around the world. But we were not able to use Hegelian dialectic to our advantage. There’s just a lot more sheep walking around. So how do we change sheep into wolves? How do we stop breeding sheep? Or if nothing can be done to reduce the sheep population, how do we use Hegelian dialectic to guide them to a “better” truth; a truth that benefits the sheep themselves.

    2. Be.Mccoy February 17, 2016 at 9:06 am

I never heard about HC, but always knew it was around and couldnt explain it. It becomes more obvious when you compare the current democrats and republicans to those of a decade ago. The republicans here and now would seem like early 2000s democrats.

  8. Djay January 16, 2016 at 12:07 am

Merkel the puppet is clearly creating a problem in europe with the mass migration of refugees.

Once civil war start, what is gonna be the solution proposed ? Police state for order and security ?

This is interresting to see how sith took control in star wars. Palpatine started the clone wars, but actually controlled both side. At the end he finished war by eliminating one side and formed the empire (for order and safety he said). Georges Lucas got vision !

I will finish with one quote from Benjamin Franklin : “Those who surrender freedom for security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one.”

  20. Dick Diver January 18, 2016 at 3:58 am

For the record; Hegel never understood his ‘dialectic’ as such. Also; the words thesis, antithesis, synthesis are nowhere to be found in his writings. This is the way in which certain people after him (mis)understood him. We do find this kind of thinking in marxist circles though. The Wissenschaft der Logik (the corner-stone) does not even follow a dialectical method at all times. It merely develops conceptions of truth/rationality in a systematic way.

So, while this article has merit, it has little do with Hegel himself. His thinking was way more nuanced and fascinating. In the end he is a nice Kantian except for things regarding morality in which he denies a second metaphysical world.

Also things such as the nation-state being god are false – nowhere in the philosophy of right do we read something like this, or do we even find the slightest hint – he developed a philosophy of religion in which god is still very much so present and it has a coherent (albeit immanent) god-conception that is very fascinating.

Hegel actually has some very nice ideas that are very much so in line with the kind of thought being supported around here. For example within his philosophy of right; his understanding of the family and the male-female relation is very interesting.

    1. Dogg Pound Gangster November 25, 2016 at 11:44 am

      You are correct.

This article is terrible. Hegel was not easy to understand, but many philosophers made most of his ideas more clear and his philosophy later on, and virtually all of these people would laugh their asses off at this stupid article which was apparently written after 10 minutes of reading Wikipedia articles written by other idiots.

Hint: Hegel did not ‘propose’ the dialectic as ‘a method for finding truth.’ The writer doesn’t know what he is talking about.

This is a flawed article conflating a poetical way of looking at world history with the actual methods the power elites employ to keep themselves in power. Firstly, if you try to find that dialectic thesis-antithesis clearly delineated in Hegel, you’ll end up empty-handed. He mentions those words only once, and only in passing. Moreover, Hegel was adamantly against the use of schemata in analysis.
More fundamentally, there is apparently hardly any evidence that the power elites rely on that philosophy. They produce crisis and they offer solutions, yes. In doing so, they’re far more likely to rely on science and experience, centuries of experience, – than on a nebulous philosophy.

What circulates the alt media shows a misunderstanding of Hegel, and middle-class insecurity that makes people, rather than face up to their predicament and fight, seek refuge in intellectual kitsch so as to appear respectable while the ship sinks.

I know this is an old article, but I’ve just come across it now. I love your work and your content is extraordinary, however, you’ve never read Hegel. Few have (or can). Nothing in here remotely comes from him — I mean nothing. He’s not quoted once. This is the opposite of what Hegel wrote. Since I specialized in Hegel and Hegelianism in grad school, this mildly irritates me, despite your great content otherwise. My lecture on this topic is here:
and the print version is here
Otherwise, thank you very much for alerting men to female nature. The sad part is, had I known this as a young man, I probably still would have made the same mistakes. No one is immune.
